Wouldn't surprise me if mpox is being pushed early after Mr Gates said the next one would be 2025, to interfere with US elections. It's the only way it seems to keep Trump out. They've tried everything else.

I rarely ever disagree with you but this time I do about the Supreme Court.
Checks and balances are essential in a democracy but even more essential now with regard to the Supreme Court and the (Labour) Executive. This is especially now when the Executive have an unassailable majority ( and can control the Legislature by three line whips). I see the Human Rights Act as our informal constitution containing all the rights that us citizens need. So at present, to take one alarming example, the Labour Government are clamping down on free speech. Hopefully there will be push back, perhaps ultimately to the Supreme Court, relying on Article 10 of the HRA, the right to freedom of expression.
Without the Supreme Court I think this Government will walk all over us.
