Today is a dark day for all of us…women, children, gay people and society as a whole. Shame on anyone who voted Labour in order to give the Tories a kicking. The only people who are going to get a kicking is us and from many different boots.

Well the worst is yet to come. Yvette Cooper is appointed Home Secretary! This is the woman who has steadfastly declined to define what a woman is!

Do any of these politicians read about or watch videos about trans issues and its effects on women? I seriously doubt it since they seem wilfully ignorant about any of it.

Trans widows, as they are sometimes referred to, are in a personal & legal minefield. They are expected to agree to ‘same-sex’ or sexless marriage. They can lose their children, their homes & often find their money has been spent on clothes, wigs & make-up by their selfish, larping husbands. The only protection from these hardships is the ‘Spousal Clause’ which enables them to get an annulment. Take this away & they’re condemned to a dreadful existence whilst their ‘husbands’ live the life of Riley. How can the Labour Party even countenance such cruelty?

Further information & advice is available from Ute Heggen on utube.

Annulment? Most if not all already have to file for divorce. Also what about any children of the marriage? I see even less said about them and what they have to endure.

I am not unsympathetic to the plight of these women but the are not "stuck" anywhere. Just bloody divorce the prick and do so with malice! Find a sympathetic lawyer (Legal Aid is still available in limited circumstances such as abuse including financial abuse) and take him to the cleaners! He thought nothing of lying to you throughout the marriage, you owe him no quarter.

Thankfully I have not had to witness first hand the plight of these women for 30+ years but this has always been my advice to them when I did.

As for Labour, oh they are just getting warmed up and don't think it is only going to be 5 years that majority will likely take 2-3 terms to overturn. Thank God I no longer live in the UK.

The problem is that they now have to go through an expensive and lengthy process rather than a simple annulment. And what happens if the male causes problems?

There is no problem for them except they cannot get their birth certificate and other certificates immediately altered. Nothing to stop them cross dressing and using a 'female' name until a GRC is issued plus, in the meantime, getting recognition of their delusion that they are a woman. In the meantime the wife remains married until a divorce is granted. They would have you believe it is a long and expensive process!

It's a dam sight easier these days to garner evidence of abuse than it was decades ago. Everybody has a recording device with them every waking moment of the day. You can even get Alexa to record conversations for you.

A man controlling access to money is "Financial Abuse" and would if properly evidenced entitle the woman in question to Legal Aid for the divorce action. There is no financial advantage to an annulment over a divorce. After an annulment you still have to apply to the court for a division of assets, custody of children and spousal support. You will still need legal advice for an annulment or you will be at a terrible financial disadvantage and there is no Legal Aid at all for the annulment process.

Here is a good account of the spousal exit clause.

Another interesting thing to note about the Gender Recognition Act 2004 are the conditions concerning succession. Sections 15 and 16 make it clear that even though a person has legally changed sex, the succession and the line of descent for peerages remains the same. So, a man changing to become a woman will still inherit as a man. I think that says it all really. This is essentially a mens rights Act, nothing more.

They keep saying that sex and gender are different, but why then are they allowed to change the SEX on their birth certificates? Unfortunately the GRA isn't going to be repealed while this appalling shower are in charge.
