Good morning Fiona, can you confirm that Manchester council has worked with the child protection team to ensure the youth forum and other activities are not promoting harmful gender ideology or trans joy etc? Has a full child protection review been done? Likewise, have they carried out a full equality impact assessment on the Pride events? I see from the pride website that they have stated they will be encouraging children to engage in trans and queer activities.
Can you please contact the safeguarding partnership urgently and get this event stopped? This is a dangerous safeguarding failure. Can you please confirm the date that the council will be rescinding the Trans pledge and that across the council estate they are now in compliance with the supreme court clarification and that all training materials and guidance has been updated.
